The Thief
For this piece I used an antique postcard from 1910 as well as vintage words from some previously torn out pages of a novel and picked out various words to cut out so I could make up my own story.
What I love about this is that it leaves the viewer hanging in so many ways. The viewer has to make up the beginning and the end and the story will probably end up being different every time they read it again.

Over the summer I was asked to illustrate a children's book. I wanted this so badly but I had no time or experience. Someday though..maybe I'll illustrate my own children's book. As soon as I decided not to and told the lady no I put all my creative effort into creating new pieces to sell, like this one. I think this one would look good in a children's book.

Fit For a Ship
I caught this photograph of a ship clock while visiting Mystic Seaport, CT. I love the details in the wood, although I'm not sure what the instrument above the clock is called or used for.

"The Journey Blue" or "The Cry"
The inspiration to this watercolor and ink illustration/painting came to me after having seen a picture of a dead wolf, laying alone in the grass. I had to come up with a story in picture form.

journey together through the unknown. Together they have been through
everything. One has died from starvation and age. Her best friend
howls to the stars as the autumn leaves curl around her cold body,
signifying a new season and a new journey alone.

Psychedelic Experiments
I made this art for the Band Occupy Casey Anthony, a Psychedelic Lo-Fi Rock band out of Lisbon Falls, Maine. I had never really done any psychedelic art before, so this was new territory for me, but it was so much fun to create since it was a complete experiment and had no clue where it would take me.
